rr BE chief exhibit on this stand is

1 the 10 wt. Overland delivery van, painted a very smart grey with black

wings and mouldings. It is shown eqiupped with pneumatic tyres (30 ins. by, 3a ins, front and 31 ins. by 4 ins.

rear). The engine is 18.2 h.p., and drives through a three-speed gearbox and bevelageared back axle to wooden artillery wheels having detachable rims. A great point about the equipment of the vehicle is a complete outfit of electric lamps (headlamps, torpedo-shaped sidelamps mounted on the wings, and rear lamp), also au electric starter. Priced iomplete at £325 (painted workshop grey) the Overland is an exceedingly attractive proposition.

The other two exhibits on this stand arethe Garford char-a-bancs and the Garford lorry with a canvas tilt. The char-à-banes is seated to accommodate 18 passengers, besides the driver-and the conductor. An off-side door gives access

to the. driver's seataand doors on the near side give access to the passenger seats. The hood on this vehicle is of the normal type and is equipped with side curtains_ Acetylene lamps are employed, carried on brackets on the dashboard, whilst there is a strong channel steel fender for the protection of the radiator. No facilities are provided for luggage, the boot at the rear being given up to the spare tyre upon its detachable

The van has a, capacity of 30 cwt., exclusive of the body, and it is equipped with a canvas tilt supported on detach

able hood-sticks. The driver's cab is very comfortable, and is protected by a screen of the full width of the vehicle carried right up to the canopy, divided vertically, the driver's section being hinged.

The chassis for the char-a-bancs and lorry are identical, having an engine of 22.3 h.p., driving through a three-speed gearbox and bevel gear to artillery -wheels. Each is equipped 'with Fisk pneumatic tyres, 35 ins, by 5 ins. A spare wheel and detachable wheel are included in the prices.
