FIVE Daimler chassis, of which four

are fitted with bodies, and one is bare, are exhibited. The chassis of all is the usual Daimler 2-3 tonner, with 22 h.p. engine. The model displayed is specially arranged so that all the working parts are shown, the gearbox and back axle being covered by glass plates, and the engine, being cut away_so that the pistons are visible through celluloid covers. 'It is fitted with Goodyear giant pneumatics, 40 ins. by 8 ins, in the rear and 36 ins. by 6 ins, in front, and is of the CJ type, with a wheelbase of 11 ft. 6 ins. • Two other vehicres with the CJ chassis His are shown. One of these has the Eagle mechanical end-tipping body. This is friction-driven off the gearbox, alternate hand-tipping gear being provided. The other has a steel body with hydraulic-tipping gear. It is interesting to D42 note that this body carries just two tons of coal when filled flush with the top of sides.

The two passenger bodies are carried on the CK, the longer chassis, with wheelbase of 13 ft. 6 ins. The 25 seater open char-a-banes is fitted with 955 mm.

by 155 mm. Dunlop pneumatics, single in front and twin at the rear, Dunlop disc wheels being employed. It is equipped with oil side and tail lamps, the headlamps and an additional taillamp of a Lorrilite set obtaining current frorn the magneto.

The motor coach, on a similar chassis and tyres, is an example of luxurious coachwork. As shown, it has a seating accommodation for 14 persons, excluding the driver, by means of nine single swivel seats along the sides, alid one long seat for five in the rear. Provision is made in the centre gangway for placing four more swivel seats, and on the right of the driver is a seat for a conductor or another passenger. Five windows at each side slide upwards and across the roof, and from the centre of this is suspended a table, which can be let down when the gangway seats are not in Ilse. A full dynamo electric lighting set, with three internal lamps, -is-fitted,

The price of the motor coach is 21,685, whilst the ehar-a-bancs comes out at 21,408, the Daimler tyre pump being included on these models. The hydraulic and Eagle tipping wagons are 21,080 and 21,030 respectively, whilst the chassis with solid tyres is 2750.
