delivery vans, .
The G.M.C. 1 ton truck chassis is mounted on pneumatic tyres front and rear. Its engine is a four-cylinder "L" type with cylinders cast en bloc, lubri D40 cation being by combined forced feed and splash system. The clutch is a multiple disc dry plate, and the gearbox provides three forward speeds and reverse. The back axle is bevel driven with threequarter floating shafts.
The Oldsmobile has a box van body fitted to the 1 ton chassis. The fourcylinder engine has is Treasury rating
of 21 7 Water circulation is by centrifugal pump, and lubrication is of the combined splash and forced feed system, the oil being circulated by a gear-driven pump. A leather-faced cone clutch has adjustable spring plungers for sissy engagement, and a three-speed-andreverse gearbox is fitted.
The Chevrolet light delivery van is
suitable for loads up to 10 cwt. The, body has two doors at the roar with a window in each, and windows are also provided on each side of the driver's seat. The engine is rated at 21.7 with four cylinders cast en bloc and cylinder head detachable. The clut!ch is of the cone type with adjustable compensating springs and the three-speed-and reverse gearbox is centrally controlled. The springs are quarter-ellipties front and rear, and wooden artillery type wheels with detachable rims are fitted with 30 in. by 4 in. non-skid Goodyear tyres. The equipment includes an electric lighting and starting-set, electric horn, speedometer, spare rim and full tool kit. The van is very smart and taking in appearance,.
