AN exhibit that,' will certainly attitet .111.. a considerable amount of attention among buyers of motor coaches is the 22-seater char-a-banes on a 2 ton Burford chassis, which has been exceedingly well planned. The seats are arranged In pairs on each side of the central gangway, with a five:passenger seat -at the rear. To this rearmost seat there are exit doors ml each side.. The entrance door is at the front, with a low -partition extending nearly halfway across the-body and having a tip-up occasional 'seat behind it The driver's seat is wider than •either of the two"passenger seats„ and. gives rpoin for a conductor or a passenger on the off side of the driver.
The vehicle is upholstered in real 1138 leather, has a well-made hood and divided windscreen, the upper panels of which are hinged. It has a dynamo lighting outfit, and is mounted on Michelin disc wheels, equipped with Michelin pneumatic tyres. There are brakes on all four wheels, operated by the brake pedal, an independent brake on the propeller shaft being operated by the lever. The price of the vehicle complete is 2095, representing quite a substantial reduction over its former price.
The standard box van is shown on a 30 cwt. chassis, with Michelin disc wheels and tyres. It is of laige capacity, being 8 ft. 4 ins, long by 5 ft. 6 ins, inside, is smartly designed, and has deep glass panels to the rear doors and to the driver's cab. • • • There is .shown a 4 ton Standard chassis, which has a feur-Speed gearbox and -an internal drive dual axle, and on the smaller chassis, the frame of which', however, has been stiffened with extra cross-members, is shown a .tipper operated by hand gear.
