Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

12-15 cwt. Box Van. Taxicab, Three-quarter Landaulet Taxi.

STAND No. 79.

ONLY one type of chassis is made by William. Beardmore and Co., the enginek being a 15 h.p. to 20 hp. and four-cylindered with a deta, chable head. The power is taken to a four-speed gearbox through a Hardy universal joint., and the same type of joint is used at both ends of the propeller shaft. The rear axle is bevel-driven and the chassis is mounted on three-quarter elliptic springs at the rear. Two of the vehicles are cabs, one being a single landaulet arid the other a three-quarter landaulet.

Both are designed to conform to Scot

land Yard requirements. The single cab landaulet is quite a new model, as Messrs. Beardmore hitherto have not made this type for the cab trade. The price of the chassis is £525, and of the three-quarter landaulet complete £795. The price for the single cab has not yet been announced. Either vehicle can be had with Brolt lighting and starting set, . at an extra charge.

The van shown is mounted on the same type of chassis-and _has a .coach-built box body, capable of carrying fiii-M--12 to 15 cwt. It is a particularly. smart-looking vehicle, of nice lines and with ample room for the load. This van body is equipped with oil lamps, but here, again, a lighting and starting set can be provided as an extra.

Besides the chassis, which is also on view, there are working models of various units and a table of parts employed in the construction of the Beardmore chassis.
