OWNER-DRIVERS in Hull are encouraging their colleagues to join groups of ownerdrivers in other parts of the country to provide themselves with better facilities and discounts on fuel and spares. At a meeting in Derby on Sunday North Humberside Owner Drivers' Association chairman George Kelly told 40 owner-drivers from all over Britain that the Hull men have already opened their own freight clearing house and are arranging their own discount And he warned the me "Everybody thinks tit; owner-drivers have mud their boots and it's up to us prove different.
