Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Lorry routes which had een planned for roads in outh Glamorgan have been rapped.

The county council's planing committee agreed to ithdraw its plans after ceiving objections from more than 3,000 people.

The Freight Transport Association also objected. It said the scheme would involve an extravagant use of fuel, that routes would be unfamiliar to drivers and the scheme would be very costly for ratepayers.

The plans have been abandoned partly because of the large number of objections and partly on . the grounds of cost which have run into hundreds of thousands of pounds.
