Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

normal user: machinery, machine tools, scrap metal and engineer's accessories within 150 miles of base. But as I also process scrap metal and sell it, can I use my A licence vehicle to deliver the processed metal?

AIn your original application on form

GV1A you declared in answer to question 5 that you understood you could not carry, in vehicles authorized under your A licence, goods in connection with any trade or business carried on by you other than that of a carrier.

If you are also operating as a scrap metal merchant you cannot carry in this vehicle the scrap metal you process. It appears that you would have to form a separate scrap metal company if you wish to transport in this manner the metals which you have processed. An exception would be if your customer pays you for delivering the processed metal.
