It is difficult to generalise about a wide spread industry containing a few very arge and many small firms. Inquiries suggest hat SET has not had the hoped-for effect. lame business is said to be extremely hard o come by and users of mechanical equipnent which in normal times would be due or replacement are reluctant to purchase nodern equipment. Export business however, s reported to be encouraging.
