Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NEW pipe bending machine has recently been added to the Staffa range of equipment produced by Chamberlain Industries Ltd. It comprises a manually operated pipebending attachment fitted to a Staffa 101 forming machine. Formers are provided designed for bending gas pipes and similar types having a nominal bore of 0.5 in. to 1.5 in. through an angle of 90 deg. with one pull of the handle. Bends of up to 180 deg. can be produced in two operations.

In this case, the pipe is fed through the bending block after each pull of the handle. No prior heating or pipe filling is required in any bending operation.

Made by: Chamberlain Industries Ltd., Staffa Works, Argall Avenue, London E10. Price: £48 10s. 9d.
