KNOWN as the M.40, a fork-lift truck has been produced by Matbro Ltd. which is made in two halves and is readily transported by helicopter or small marine vessel. The machine features four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, and the engine section can be operated and manoeuvred when detached from the fork section. The engine section weighs 3,200 lb. and the fork section 2,800 lb. The machine has a forward speed of 30 m.p.h., and reverse of 15 m.p.h.

Powered by a Ford diesel developing 83 the truck has a lifting capacity of 4,000 lb. and.a lifting height of 12 ft.
