Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THIS week's prizewinner is Mr. T. H. Lineker, of Huthwaite, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Mr. Lineker's idea concerns the double-web rear brake shoes with balancing bell cranks and struts such as fitted on Dodge vehicles. He says that if the split pins used to locate the bell-crank spindles are put in with the eyes facing towards each other and a light pull-off spring with long tails hooked into each eye, the struts will not fall out of the sockets during assembly or stripping down. Comments Handyman: This idea should overcome the difficulty as long as the cotters are well secured.
