YORK Trailer Co., Ltd. announces two
new trailer models for the 24 tons gross ;ombination weight operating limits on threeixle articulated combinations effective from December 1,
York Teamster platform model EP.18 .eplaces EP.16. EP.18 is plated for 20 tons ;.t.w. and takes a 17-ton payload. Trailer weight
s approximately 2 tons 17 cwt. Trailer features m 18 in.-deep castellated Yolloy 1 beam main irame. Recommended list price: /1,095 at l6 ft. long.
The other new York model is a Freightmaster emi-trailer van 1B6, plated for 20 tons g_t.w.
t takes a 17-ton payload at 24 tons g.t.w. meration. There is no increase in weight or nice over the previous model 1B4. Recommended ist price: i1,968 at 26ft. long.
The new regulation gives R. A. Dyson and 2o., Ltd. a ready-made model. This is its weviously export-only Truston 16/17-ton :apacity single-axle platform semi-trailer, the 'home" version of which will, of course, comply vith the Code of Practice and be balanced to uit local axle weight requirements.
