The linings are available in lengths up to I 3.7m, widths from 1.22m to 2.44m, and a choice of four lining thicknesses between 3.2 and 12.7mm to suit various applications.
The material was developed in Canada for use at temperatures down to —45`C and it is claimed to stop freezing loads from sticking to tipper body floors, preventing discharge. and to extend the floor life of the body itself.
Tevlor liners cost between £5.48/m2 and £17.391m2 according to sheet thickness, adding no more than 214kg for a lOm body.
Shallow linings are also said to protect box-bodies against damage from forklifts.
