UTT teams up in Interhire bought Sweden with ADR by DJS Holdings

• United Transport Tankcontainers has linked up with ADR-Transport, the bulk liquids arm of the Swedish Bilspedition Group, to widen its network in Scandinavia.
The deal will allow UTT to use the Swedish firm's four sites in Kulma, Gothenburg, Malmo and Stockholm.
In return, ADR will be taking advantage of UTTs European network.
urr says the partnership will help it to expand in the Scandinavian chemical market. However, the firm does not forsee any more major moves in Scandinavia in the run up to 1992 because "it is not a priority area".
• DJS Holdings has acquired Exeter-based Interhire, the West Country commercial vehicle contract hire and spot rental firm.
Interhire will be integrated into DJS Holidings' subsidiary DJS Contracts, which also operates contract hire and spot rental divisions.
DJS Contracts has recently placed an order worth £4m with Mercedes-Benz for a range of vans and truck, taking its contract fleet to over 1,000 vehicles, says company spokeswoman Mo Malcolmson.
The DJS operation currently covers Hampshire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall and there are plans to expand.
