JOHN FOX and Company Limited has asked that it be pointed out that the company has no connection whatever with the Fox Freight clearing houses (CM, May 4).
John Fox and Company, of Folkes Farm, Folkes Lane, Uprninster, Essex, is involved in warehousing, distribution and national and international haulage. It has been established since 1868.
Leyland down-under
LEYLAND intends to reintroduce its T45 truck range into Australia by appointing three new distributorships there.
The first vehicles will be 255hp Constructor 6x4 and 8x4 models, some of which are already on the way.
Plans are already advanced for the launch of Cumminsengined Scammell S26 Trucks based on Cummins power up to 400hp, Fuller gearboxes and Rockwell axles.
