GARDNER has improved the standard warranty conditions on all its truck and bus diesel engines and introduced an extended warranty for major engine components.
The new Gardner warranty certificate, like the old one, provides cover for 12 months with an unlimited mileage, but now full labour costs are included and it is made clear that the warranty is effective from the date of delivery to the first retail purchaser.
The extended warranty covers major parts such as crankshaft, cylinder block and head castings for three years or 400,000 miles.
There is no charge and the warranty is transferable during its three-year life.
