Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WEST B OMWIC magistrates are considering whether they ought to deal with a charge involving a forged international journey permit against a haulage company which has since gone into liquidation.

Centre Haulage, of West 13romwich, is accused of having a document in its possession so closely resembling an international permit as to be calculated to deceive.

Asking the magistrates to deal with the case, Barbara Stubbs prosecuting for the West Midland Traffic Area, said a letter had been written to the Clerk of the Court in March after it was confirmed that the company had gone into liquidation.

That outlined the prosecution's view that the liquidation of provisions in the Companies Act did not prevent the flatter proceeding.
