Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PRICES have been issued for the two new conversion kits for diesel engine excess fuel devices announced by C.A.V., Ltd., at their northern area's agents conference in March (see The Commercial Motor, March 30, 1962). The kits have been introduced to allow operators to modify their diesel-engined vehicles to meet the regulations coming into force on July 1.

The electrical relay to prevent the operation of the C.A.V. Thermostart cold-starting aid costs about £2 5s., including fitting. With the relay fitted, the Thermostart can be operated until the dynamo charge reaches about 10 v. at which point the unit is cut out and cannot be operated again until the dynamo output drops below 2 v.

Excluding fitting, the conversion kit which is available for all types of in-line injection pumps, costs £2 15s. It is the same for the three versions made and the remote-control cable can be 3, 4 or 5 ft. long.
