WE regret to record the death of IT Alderman A. Ashworth, Mr. L. Bugg, Mr. W. G. Edmond and Mr. T. Thompson. '

Ald. Ashworth, who was 86, served on the Rochdale Transport Committee for over 30 years. He died as the result of an accident.

Mr. Bugg, who was 59, was a diesel engine sales specialist who joined F. Perkins, Ltd., at Peterborough in 1940. Latterly he had been Perkins Group trade sales manager.

Mr. Edmond carried on a coachbuilding business at Middlesbrough. He was in his middle sixties and started business on his own account 40 years ago.

Mr. Thompson, who was 79, was a motor coach proprietor at Ferryhill, Co. Durham,
