• Gilbraith Tankers is looking for a partner to invest in its temperature-controlled subsidiary GS (Storage & Distribution) in Runcorn, Cheshire.
GS was set up with 8,400m3 of coldstores and chillers four years ago, primarily to give its Isle of Man-based subsidiary Manx Sea Ferry Freight a site on the mainland, but also to win more outside business.
Although GS has won deals with the likes of Harris and TSW Meats, it has been hit hard by the recession, leaving its chiller two thirds empty
