A BROMPTON heavy haulage contractor, J. M. Bell, has had his 11-year-old Dyson fourwheel in-line 45-ton low loader updated to conform to his present-day needs.
Dyson Trailers has fitted a new detachable tandem-axle rear bogie providing extra length, to accommodate earthmoving equipment, plus a total carrying capacity of 51 tons.
Existing axle pick-up points locate the bogie which consists of two heavy-duty tubular axles fitted with lowheight multi-leaf springs and runs on eight 10.00 x 15 tyres.
