ONLY one model is produced by this company and it is a 25-ton unit which will accept a 36 in.-high workpiece. The two main pillars of • the press are circular with a considerable portion of their length carrying an Acme thread. Working on these are two threaded sleeves which are rotated by a simple gear and chain drive to raise and lower the work table. The machine will accept a maximum width of work of 36 in. and is equipped as standard with a pair of vee-blocks and adapter and a set of mandrels. The unit is mounted on a pair of channel-section feet giving it a base of 36 in. by 42 in. and the main uprights are steadied by two tie-rods running from the back of the crosshead to the rear of the mounting feet. The retail price of the machine is £125.
