Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

JENOLITE Auto-Dry and Sol-Speedi-Dry are granular minerals for absorbing spilled liquids, whilst Jenolite CED is a chemical which when mixed with water is useful for removing caked deposits from floors.

Like other materials of a similar type, AutoDry and Sol-Speedi-Dry can be used for soaking up patches of oil or grease and they will soak up contaminates that have impregnated the surface. They can also be used to cover floors likely to have oil spilled on them—to a depth of 0.125 in. or 0.25 in.—and a change of colour indicates when the material is exhausted. With oil and grease the materials become black, whereas water and similar liquids change the colour to brown. Both materials can be swept up and used again if they are not apparently exhausted.

Jenolite CED is diluted with about its own volume of water and brushed over the floor surface with a stiff broom. When the caked deposits have softened, either of the two Jenolite absorbent materials can be used to soak up the deposit or presumably it can be hosed off.
