T_TANDY slotted angle is made in 1.5 in. by 1.5 in. sections and in heavy-duty 2.25 in. by 1.5 in. and 3.5 in. by 1.5 in. sections, whilst a wide range of accessories includes adjustable shelves, shelf panels, backing sheets and sides, slotted flat strip, glazing strip, anchor plates, joining pieces, plastics feet, strengthening ribs, shelf-adjusting clips, card clips, flow wheels (for conveyors), hinges, gravity roller fixing brackets, castors and bins.
The angle may be used for the construction of all types of storage rack, shelving and platform and also for mobile storage units with open sides and closed ends which are normally employed in multiples in a continuous line and can be separated for withdrawal of parts or documents.
The great virtue of these mobile units is that they provide a valuable saving in floor area which, it is claimed, amounts to 40 per cent in a typical application.
