Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TN response to the ever-increasing demand 1for greater visibility for drivers, particularly on front-entrance double-deckers, Overton Doors Ltd. have produced what are claimed to be the first-ever double folding doors made entirely of glass. These have been fitted to a new Fleetline of the North Western Road Car Co. Ltd. for extensive service trials.

Triplex toughened safety glass has been used in the construction and this is supported top and bottom in shakeresisting channels, fastened in turn to pillar drive tubes, all fittings being adhesively bonded. All edges of the glass are shock

absorbed and draught proofing at the centre of the doors is achieved by conventional male and female rubber sections. Draught proofing down the hinge section of the door is obtained by a very neat and effective transparent plastic extrusion.

The door mechanism is conventional Overton design, the doors being hung from the shelf-plate in self-lining, self-lubricating bearings. Side-thrust, bottom-bearing spigots of self-aligning construction are provided on the step. This arrangement not only facilitates installation, but also allows for any slight misalignments which may occur.
