0HAIRMEN have now been appointed

for the five working groups of the Transport Co-ordinating Council for London set up by the Minister of Transport.

Sir Alex Samuels, adviser on road traffic to the Minister, is to head the group dealing with co-ordination between different forms of transport, and integration of traffic management measures with transport operations. Mr. P. F. Stott, the Greater London Council's director of highways and transportation, will be chairman of the three groups dealing with the planning of interchange facilities, planning of the strategic highway network, and movement of freight. Mr. 0. F. Gingell, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Transport, will chair the group dealing with planning of major investment in all forms of transport and transport facilities.
