Last week Mr. B. C. Floyd was unanimously re-elected area chairman. with Mr. Herbert H. Crow (Crow Carrying Co., Ltd.), Mr. C. Hards (Burchett and Hards. Ltd.) and Mr. .1. T. Turner (3, H. Turner) as vicechairmen. These appointments will take effect immediately after the Association's annual general meeting in May.
OBITUARY
ivE regret to record the deaths of VI' Ma. C. TAYLOR, CAPT. GEOROI: HENRY MARSHALL, MR. WILLIAM JEFFREYS and MR. JOHN MACDONALD. Mr. Taylor was the proprietor of Taylor's Reliance Coaches, Meppershall, and Sheenway Coaches, London, S.W.I4. He began coach operation in 1923.
Capt. Marshall began a haulage business in Hull in 1926. He retired in 1949 when his company was nationalized. He was 74.
Mr. Jeffreys, who was 92, was the founder and senior dirtctor of Jeffreys Commercial Motors (Swansea), Ltd.
Mr. MacDonald was director of Melvin Motors. Ltd., Glasgow, and a member of the councilof the Scottish Motor Trade Association.
