the McLaughlin Buick Limited Limousine made in 1936 for King Edward VIII is to be sold at Sotheby's London sale of Historic and Important Motor Vehicles, Bicycles and Automobilia to be held at the Honourable Artillery Company on Monday the 22 June.
More important than the Buick (in the Hawk's eyes anyway), has to be the Dennis Fire Engine built in 1929 and restored by Dennis apprentices. The estimate for the fire engine is 22,500£3,500.
The Honourable Artillery Company is located in Armoury House, City Road, London Ed 1 and the vehicles can be viewed on Saturday and Sunday the 20th and 21st June from 10am to 6pm.
