Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I READ with great interest the article in your April 30 issue relating to operators requirements when purchasing new vehicles. Not surprisingly, "back-up" round the clock was a major priority.

Most of the major manufacturers seem to offer a reasonably high degree of operator support and this is reflected particularly in their advertising.

I am therefore somewhat surprised and confused with Ford's current "Linehaul" campaign. Although this multipage advertising has said exactly the same thing over a number of weeks, there is one small discrepancy which keeps occurring.

When Ford talks about 24hour/7-day parts' supply they do from time to time add a disclaimer saying "excluding Public Holidays". On other occasions, this same advertisement does not carry the disclaimer.

Does Ford give a true 24hour/7-day parts' supply or not? To a Ford operator this could be vital. To other interested parties, it seems that Ford doesn't know what it is offering.
