COACHFAIR 83, sponsored by CM and Travel News, promises to be one of the biggest events in the coach industry's calendar. Coachfair will give coach operators a chance to show their clients just what they can offer at its conference and exhibition at London's Syon Park on September 22 and 23.
The event opens with a oneday conference, chaired by Ron Whittle of Go Whittle of Highley, Shropshire. Papers on the advantages, requirements and safety of modern coaching are included in the conference programme.
Speakers include leading executive coach operator Len Wright, Bus and Coach Council technical executive Alan Gurley, Wallace Arnold's Nicholas Barr, Verite Baker of Ambassadors of Britain and from the travel industry Intasun Holiday's coach operations manager, Ted Holloway. The conference will include an open forum to allow full debate.
The conference will be supported by an outside exhibition of the latest in luxury coaches and an inside exhibition for both the coach trade and its suppliers, including a workshop area where operators and potential clients can get together to discuss business. Demand for exhibition space has been such that a number of special exhibition chalets are to be erected.
