Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TI DIESELTUNE claims its modified model 102 engine compression tester, weighing about 5kg, can be used with virtually all engines now available in Europe.

Its universal measuring probe replaces conventional flange, clamp and claw retained injectors so that compression loss or imbalance can be pinpointed with the engine running.

Valve malfunction is detected by taking readings at tick over. Problems with pistons, rings and liners show up at maximum revs. Compression readings of up to 7,000km/sqm (1,000 psi) are retained on the gauge until released by a push-button valve.
