THE MAXIMUM capacity of petroleum-carrying road tankers has been increased from 30 cum to 36 cum to allow the petroleum industry to take advantage of the 38 tonne lorry.
The Health and Safety Executive has issued certificate of exemption No 2 of 1983 under the Dangerous Substances (Cony eya n ce by Road in Road Tankers and Tank Containers) Regulations 1981.
