"TRANSPORT into the Eighties" will be the theme of the 1976 National Guild of Transport Managers conference at Mattock Bath on October 2.
Mr R. J. E. Dawson, head of the Road Freight Division of DoE, will open proceedings with a paper dealing with legislation into the Eighties, followed by Mr Len Jose, goods in transit manager of E. A. Notcutt Insurers Ltd, who will be discussing the future of insurance premiums.
The first afternoon session will be lead by Graham Montgomerie, CM's technical editor, who will take the delegates through an illustrated paper on how CM tests vehicles.
