In a comprehensive range of pedestrian-controlled and drivertype cleansing vehicles the models 916 and 808 will be particularly interesting. These models are supplied with three types of standard end-tipping bodywork and two of polythene bin-type bodywork. The 916 with a 1.25-ton payload is supplied with Havering type bodywork which carries 12 polythene bins each of 3J, cu ft capacity. This 916 is suitable where refuse has to be transferred to a bulk loader or other parent vehicle, and has a 12 mph speed and 18to-20-mile range.
