THREE London Transport RTW-type double-decker buses have been sold to a Canadian firm, Double Deck Tours Ltd. The buses will be used to transport some of the 10,000,000 tourists who annually visit.the Niagara Falls.
Additional purchases of British double-deckers are planned by the company, which is run by a group of Canadian businessmen. These buses will be used in other Canadian and American cities which cater to the tourist trade. The photograph shows the first of the buses to be purchased, awaiting transhipment at Liverpool Docks. Note the coat of arms of Preston Corporation which the Canadians chose to place on both sides of each bus.
