Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Carrier Transicold is in many ways what has given the business its foundation, and one that extends far beyond its South Wales base.

"Our territory as a service provider extends all the way to Kent, and includes the area south of the M4," Mark Lovering explains. "We started with Carrier Transicold in 1999, initially just in South Wales, and then were awarded the rest of the southern UK. Looking after refrigeration units is even more demanding than looking after the vehicles themselves. If a truck breaks down, it's a breakdown. If a fridge unit packs up, it's a potential disaster.

"For a start, you are probably dealing with a high-value load which will be ruined unless a repair can be made quickly, and then you've got the issue of a vehicle that cannot be easily replaced by a hired-in unit because of its specialist nature. You are under immense pressure to repair the unit: it's not like a clutch going on a truck."

Glenside carries as great a value of Carrier parts as it does Iveco, and has a team of 30 dedicated Carrier mobile engineers in its workforce of 80.

"Providing service for Carrier means that we provide service for some of the largest retailing names in Britain," Lovering says. "We're looking after the temperature-controlled transport needs of Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's."
