• Agriemoch has launched an easy-fit product called Exhaust Insulation Wrap which it claims provides a simple method of controlling exhaust heat and improving engine power output and fuel economy. With applications in both PSV and HGV sectors, the new product was developed over three years in the US. The supplier says it will boost horsepower and reduce engine compartment temperature by up to 70%—increasing component life and providing burns protection during maintenance work. Supplied in rolls the silicabased fabric clings tightly around exhaust and manifold pipework, secured by stainless steel snap strap fasteners. The asbestos-free material is unaffected by oil or water and will
withstand temperatures up to 1,000°C. Exhaust Insulating Wrap is sup plied in rolls 25 or 50mm x 16.5m and 50 or 150mm x 33m.
