SEVEN COMPUTER companies are taking part in an exhibition to be held at the Freight Transport Association's conference in London on September 17.
BRS Datafreight, Davies and Robson (Software Systems) Ltd, Freight Computer Services, IBM, ICL Transport, Sitpro, and Ul Management Consultants Ltd are taking part in the exhibition, and will display systems for stock control, load and route planning, planning of distribution systems, costing and management information systems, and document preparation.
Speakers at the conference, which is to be opened by Transport Secretary Norman Fowler, are ICI Holland distribution manager Job Onderdelinden, United Biscuits commercial director Alan West, Institute of Personnel Management president elect Bob Ramsey, and Confedereation of British Industry deputy president Sir Campbell Fraser.
