Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

1MOBILE'S prototype Ford eries welfare bus was wn at the Naidex connce at Harrogate last week. he body has been designed Dormobile to be made either i welfare bus or as an ordinbus on either a diesel or -al-engined chassis.

he welfare bus that eared in prototype form at rogate will carry 12 seated sengers and four wheelchair ients (or six, if two are .red along the gangway).

wheelchairs are taken on • off by means of a Ratcliff wt Foldaway electrotraulic lift at the rear, losed by the two doors at ; end.

'he psv version of the bus, ich will have glider doors the front end and no rear irs, will have seating for passengers and be eligible a DoE bus grant.

he dual-purpose body is med in Zintec lightweight c-coated steel and panelled ide and out with the same terial along its sides, but has ss reinforced plastics mould;s for both ends and for the if, the latter being lined internally with painted aluminium panels.

The vehicle is notable in that its floor is completely flat throughout its length, eliminating wheelarches and providing room for a central air-distribution duct below it, from which hot air issues through upwardfacing grilles along each side of the gangway.

Hot air is blown through the duct by a KL650 heater at the rear of the saloon, It is mounted in tandem with a solenoid-operated diverter box under the driver's control. He selects either fresh or recirculated air for distribution by means of a switch mounted on the dashboard.

In warm weather, unheated fresh air can be circulated instead by turning off the water supply to the heater.
