• Mr. L. Hill, of Leeds, was fined £20 by Leeds City magistrates on Monday for failing to have his vehicle plated and tested. The defendant, who pleaded guilty, was ordered to pay a fine of £10 on both Sections 14(1) and 14(2) of the Road Safety Act 1967. Mr. Hill's vehicle should have been plated and tested before February 1 1969.

At Dewsbury Borough magistrates' court on Tuesday, Moulson Plant Hire Ltd., of Bradford, was fined £5 on Section 14(1) and £5 on Section 14(2) of the Road Safety Act 1967. The company was also ordered to pay a fine of E2 for failing to display an identity certificate, and lOs cost.
