'THE National Road Transport Federa1 lion is, as had been expected, definitely to be dissolved. This was made clear in a joint statement issued on Tuesday by the Road Haulage Association, the Traders Road Transport Association and the Passenger Vehicle Operators Association.
The statement reads: "After consideration of the statement issued jointly by the R.1-LA., the T.R.T.A. and the P.V.O.A. on December 17, 1962 (announcing a unanimous recommendation by the honorary officers of the three associations that the National Road Transport Federation should be dissolved), it was agreed. at a meeting of the Couneil Of the Federation on Tuesday, January, 15, 1963, to call an Extraiordinary General Meeting on April 29, 1963, to pass a resolution to wind up the Federation ".
