't gear positive-displacement pump made by the Albin Motor Co. of Kristinehamn, Sweden. Capacities range from 0.3 to 5 g.p.m. at normal working pressure of 213 p.s.i. to larger pumps of up to 120 g.p.m. at lower pressures. These pumps can work with high viscosities— up to 3000 seconds Redwood No. land at temperatures of up to 240°C (496°F).

Almost any liquid in which there are no suspended solids and which has some

lubricating property, whether of high or low viscosity, can be pumped, including oils, paraffin, paint, printing ink, varnish, asphalt, bitumen, glue, yeast, treacle, molasses, glucose and chocolate. The pump bodies are of fine-grained grey Swedish cast iron with precision machined steel gears. There is a variety of flange and foot mountings and a pressure relief valve can be supplied. The pumps are available from the U.K. importers, K. R. Gibbs and Co. Ltd., 21 Evesham Road, Cheltenham, Glos, or agents.
