AS foreshadowed in The Commercial Motor last week, the Tilling Group passenger undertakings have been admitted to membership of the Public Transport Association after a break of over 12 years. The decision to accept the applications for membership was taken at the P.T.A.'s council meeting last week: the two manufacturing companies in the Tilling Group have been made asso-date members.
Meanwhile London Transport is now actively considering whether to apply for P.T.A. membership and a decision is expected snon. There has been no further move in this direction by the Scottish Omnibuses Group.
