Government that during the fuelrationing period they will cover the carriage by C-licensees of other traders' traffic, After a deputation from the Traders' Road Transport Association had last week interviewed Mr. Harold Watkinson, Minister of Transport, he announced that C-licensees everywhere were to be given carte blanche to carry for other ancillary users traffic which would normally travel in C-licence vehicles.
It was announced on Monday that the Traders' Road Transport Association were forming a co-ordinating committee to promote fuel economy. The Federation of British Industries, National Union of Manufacturers and chambers of trade and commerce are being asked to serve on the committee.
