Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SUGGESTION that the Institute Pl. of Transport should include personnel management in its syllabus of examination studies was made last' week by Sir Harold West, managing director of Newton Chambers and Co., Ltd., dt the annual dinner of the Yorkshire section, in Leeds.

The president of the Institute, Mr. A. B. B. Valentine, pointed out that the examination syllabus was being revised to give greater prominence to the problems of human relations in the transport industry. Next to the difficulties caused by rising costs, they called for the constant attention of transport managers and the trade unions.

Mr. Valentine suggested that managers should give every facility-to enable younger members of their staffs to' visit other undertakings. He also mentioned that he will be visiting the Institute's sections in Australia nem March.
