BEDFORD can provide customers wi credit facilities through its parent compar General Motors. A wholly owned subsidia called General Motors Acceptance Corpor tion exists to offer credit for Bedford, Vau hall and Opel sales via the dealer networks A GMAC spokesman said that as specialist in the field it hopes to "be a litI more liberal-minded" than a finance how. HP and lease deals are available and fi ance is offered on new and used vehicl sold by the Bedford dealers. GMAC m also provide finance on new vehicles oth than Bedford if a Bedford dealer holds second franchise. The dealers may u GMAC to finance their own vehicle stocks.
