THE 15TH ANNUAL public transport symposium is to be held at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne from April 3 to 5.

The theme of the speakers is information technology in public transport and nine transport or information technology experts will address the audience.

There will be an exhibition demonstrating much of the hardware discussed and other information systems appropriate to public transport.

The fee, which covers attendance, copies of the proceedings, refreshments, meals and an all-zones pass for public transport in the area, is £155. Travel and accommodation deals are also available.
