Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Oxford and Swindon Co-operative Society is having the York Hob( dual purpose tandem suspension fitted to its new trailers.

The trailers are used for bulk deliveries of milk to depots in the Gloucester area.

By lifting the leading axle on the trauer uu..lig toe return journey, with a payload of empty crated bottles of under 9 tons, savings on fuel consumption as well as an extended tyre life can be expected.

This SFT 30H trailer, built by York's Truck Equipment Division at Doncaster, is 9.5m (31ft.) long and fitted with 9.00 x 20 tyres which provide low platform height of only 1.27m (4ft 21n).

The step frame has been tailor-made to allow level stacking for the rows of milk crates.
