Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DUPLE coachbuilders have designed a new interior front end for Ford coaches fitted with the inclined front engine option offered by Tricentrol.

The floor line rises slightly from the passenger seats towards the front with no abrupt hump over the engine.

Special attention has been paid to sound-deadening, and also to giving easy access to the dipstick and oil-filler.

The front portion of the hatch hinges upwards on a piano hinge for this purpose.

To allow for easier engine removal, Duple designer John Ruddy has incorporated a screw-on exterior panel below the windscreen.

For next season, all Ford coaches will be produced with engines inclined below floor level.

The coach shown is being finished at the Duple factory — a similar one is now in service with Chambers of . Stevenage.
